More than just promoting environmentally sustainable golf course maintenance, Turf Golf Strategies (TGS) defines environmental education as \u201ca process that allows individuals to explore environmental issues, engage in problem-solving, take action to improve the environment, and illustrate the positive effects that trees and local wildlife have on not only golf courses but the World.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TGS takes the responsibility of educating younger generations about the importance of environmental conservation. To accomplish this, we plan events to bring kids out to golf courses to teach them the roles the environment plays in a golf course, have them plant their own trees on the course, and discuss with them how the trees will positively impact the environment and the golf courses for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
